New Beginnings...

Wishing everyone a beautiful, blessed and bountiful New Year!

Well, a new calendar year begins and with it countless expectations and experiences await. There will be the bumps and valleys to walk...some will be pleasant and others not so.

Walk i must and face the challenges.To be a better person and live joyfully. i find that prayer is most helpful and calming in the noisy din of everyday life.i believe in GOD and somehow i am very attuned to the powerful energy manifested in the female form.

It was during one of my morning walks that i was inspired and wrote a tribute which i hope will give strength, courage and insight to everyone in good and bad times.

Mother,
you are the face of compassion
the heart of vision.

Mother,
your gentle face provides calm
your kind eyes...my soul's balm.

Mother,
you are my strength
in the face of wrath
you are the tender breeze amidst a thunderstorm.

Mother,
talking to you gives me courage
to trudge along life's many troughs...
to keep my faith and not falter.

Mother,
you are my energy
my guiding light...
the very reason i am alive.

Mother,
be with me throughout my life
hold my hand and guide me right.

No Thought Given.Thinking Before Talking Is No Longer Practised.

Do we actually think before saying something? Give thought to the consequences of our words?. Everyday, people around me are saying things which most often defies logic and the words spoken carry no meaning. Why say it then?. i understand that seeking attention escapes no one but as time goes by, it is becoming apparent that no thought is given before one opens his or her mouth. That is downright dumb and dangerous. 'Think before you speak'. 'Look before you leap' were definitely coined after much thought. Words are so powerful that they yield unimaginable impact whichever way it hits you. i believe in it. Just three magic words,"i love you" soars the spirit whilst,"i hate you" can crush your soul. Sometimes words are uttered intentionally to cause hurt and careful thought is given for choice words to create such an effect. It is cruel. DEATH

... i fear you not i embrace your coming when you are due for i have learnt You are the ONE certain the ONLY reality in this temporary journey. i thank you ... for i now see and feel differently i am learning to brush off trivialities accepting LIFE for what IT IS letting GO frivolity ... for that's what IT IS transient in THAT moment and nothing more. i am humbled and at peace DEATH ... you have given me freedom to be me, to fly high and be what i want to be everything i am meant to face IS but a passing phase ... i know the TRUTH that lies ahead IS the REAL beginning.
