Obnoxious & Overeager Sales People
Obnoxious and overeager sales people never fail to spoil an otherwise relaxing and fun shopping trip to a mall. Every service industry player ought to place emphasis on training staff to provide excellent service to customers. Complaints by disgruntled shoppers of bad mannered sales people falls on deaf ears. Profit comes first and customers be damned!.
i like to browse before making a purchase and since i only indulge every once in awhile,i take my time. Along comes some pesky sales person badgering me about what i'm looking for and then tailing me as if i was going to disturb a display or worse put something into my handbag!. There is the overeager salesgirl after that, insisting that i buy what she deems is more within my spending power. Err..now when did i mention my budget or even ask for your interference?.How condescending!.i find these kind of sales people very rude and in dire need of assistance themselves in basic understanding of what good service is.
The obnoxious ones can be spotted a mile away when they shoot daggers at you with thinly pursed lips which clearly says,'You cannot bloody afford this,so do not dare bother me.' It's comical when they themselves can ill afford the very products they are supposed to coax customers into buying. The more daring ones would step forward and disdainfully direct you to a different section which they feel is where you should be in the first place.
Obnoxious and overeager sales people truly are such a pain. Why they behave as such is still a mystery to me but i always walk away when i'm pestered or totally ignored. i refuse to let these sorry sods mar my day and have developed a shield of sorts. There had been times though,when i ticked off sales people who i felt crossed the line. Mostly,i just ignore them.
